Wilson owns a high dollar shoe store in Arizona called, "High Point".

I would love for Adub to come to Charlotte. He has made plenty in his career and would probably take a hometown discount. Something that Gholston and Landry will not do to come to Charlotte. I'm all for it and he would definitely help the secondary.

whether thats backing up Godfrey or pushing Godfrey to FS, he would undoubtedly find a place and a role on this team.

lol....backing up Godfrey. That was a good one.

I think that phrase "1 year deal" is gonna be heard a lot around here this offseason.

kerry rhodes made a lot of plays last year. i'd say he had a better year than wilson.

that being said, i'm a huge wilson fan and would love to have him here.

Used to always pick up Wilson in FA way back in Madden 07 after the 1st season

Cannot believe the guy is 34 already. Would love to have him here, would be an upgrade for sure, HOWEVER, we need to get Hamlin or another FS before we spend any money on a SS.

Hell to the yes! Career wise Wilson has him but last year he Rhodes was a beast.

So, you would cross Wilson's name off your list bc Rhodes had a better stat season than he did?
Wilson still put up 54tackles, 3sacks, a FF, and Int.

Wilson is at an age of 33, but is still one of the best Safeties in the league. I think we can bring him in for a reasonable price due to his age. If we can, hes instantly is our best player in the secondary, best safety since Minter, and will bring a ton of leadership to our defense.

HIs age may be a reason why we could get him at a reasonable price. He may want to come home and finish his career off. Still one of the better all around safety in the league.

Did I not say 'my bad' for mistaking Wilson was a FS?
Talk football please and tell me Wilson isnt a top 5 all around safety in this league. If you dont think so, then I dnno what youve been watching the last decade.

well I guess i'm the only one who thinks Godfrey is a quality starting SS. I still want A. wilson on this team, but I don't think he would or should start over Godfrey. Put them together on 1st downs or definite running situations and I'm all for it.

Would sign him in a second if we had the cash.

He would be a great veteran presence to our secondary

Despite what his Wiki page says he was not an All Pro in 2011. That was Palamalu and Weddle with Reed and Earl Thomas on the second team. He is neither best free or strong safety and did not have a good season this past year and his role was reduced last season.

He would still be a welcome addition though unless they part ways with Godfrey I don't see it happening.

Wrong

Wilson was 2nd team All-Pro in 2011

http://www.pro-footb.../W/WilsAd99.htm

He may have had a down year last year, but people that don't think he is one of the best strong safties in the game have no idea what they are talking about.

Earl Thomas, Eric Berry, Mark Barron, Troy Polamalu, Jarius Byrd, Antrel Rolle, Ed Reed, Dashon Golston, and Eric Weddle are all safeties I would take over Wilson. Now if we're strictly talking SS then yea he's top five. But not top five safeties period.....
