Wrong
Wilson was 2nd team All-Pro in 2011
http://www.pro-footb.../W/WilsAd99.htm
He may have had a down year last year, but people that don't think he is one of the best strong safties in the game have no idea what they are talking about.
No he was not. Pro Football Focus is not recognized for creating an all pro list.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_All-Pro_Team
He was 6th in the AP All Pro Team voting, that is not good enough for second team.

Sporting News does not list alternates

I would suggest reading your sources.

Earl Thomas, Eric Berry, Mark Barron, Troy Polamalu, Jarius Byrd, Antrel Rolle, Ed Reed, Dashon Golston, and Eric Weddle are all safeties I would take over Wilson. Now if we're strictly talking SS then yea he's top five. But not top five safeties period.....
Lol WHAT?
You would not be that stupid to take Barron, Rolle, Goldshon, and Weddle over Wilson.
No you wouldn't. I know your smarter than that man.

Dawan Landy is a much better option.
Money wise, Yes. Talent and production wise, NO. Wilson is older but still a lot better than Landry. Wilson is better in coverage than Landry also.

Every single one of those players had better 2012 years then Wilson, and Barron is a player you can build your back four around for the next decade. I think I'm a little smarter then you're giving me credit for. The NFL is a what have you done lately league, not what have you done period. The only one you can potentially argue, is Polamalu, and that's based on what he's done in the past and him being able to play a full season which he didn't last year. If I'm getting the chance to pick up any safety in the league it would be one of Thomas, Berry, or Barron based on not only what they did most recently, but their age and ability going forward....

Weddle is probably the best safety in the league, and Wilson has been average the last couple years so I don't know if you've watched him recently. That said I would still take him to be our SS

Weddle is not the best. He's one of the best.
It's a toss up between Berry and Earl right now.

More like Weddle and Jarius Byrd, Berry is no where near the discussion. He barely grades out over Nakamura.

Byrd is not a top5. He's a top10.
Berry had a spectacular rookie season. Played lights out! A down year last year due to coming off an injury.
Please quit reading these grading crap. I'm tired of it. It shows so less to how good a player really is on the field. If you were trying to be funny comparing Berry to Naka, you weren't close. So quit.
