Agreed, I have a problem about thinking about the future too much instead of thinking about the present. But that seems like the best option. And I think Frank is gonna be really good.If Frank Alexander develops into a reliable pass-rusher, then I say we tag Hardy and see what we can get for him. But, I don't want to worry about that now.

I wouldn't reach that far, we just need some breathing room in cap space......the amount we have available now isn't even enough for our draft picks, which will have an impact of about 5 million.I didn't see this coming. Gettleman must have some serious plans for FA.

He is not necessarily being asked to take a pay cut but just restructuring the guarantees on his deal.
False.

We shall see. That is going to be a bit difficult with 2 years remaining unless they give him an extension.

With a new GM in place like Gettleman I really feel Gross has no leverage with a "who are you gonna replace me with?" Gettleman has repeatedly talked about getting the Cap ready for the future. I doubt it ever comes to a cut for Gross, but I don't think he has leverage here. What other team is gonna pay him that much money if he is cut?

I use that money on Jake Long, Clady, Andre Smith or a vet Eric Winston. Or better yet, get one in the draft.
That's the answer.
