The pressure is on 49ers to upgrade their WR corps now. I expect them to do something instead of standing pat with Crabtree especially when they are loaded with draft picks. The question is, what does Percy and the Seahawks do when his current contract is up. Will he get the 16 million per year he is asking?

We are a good ways from the playoffs.

I know. I'm so depressed.
A good 2-3 years from it.

we can't afford to be.

it has to be playoffs or bust...or at least winning season or bust and that rivera guy and his coaches with him.

oh yeah....i'm jealous and tired of losing and hearing/making excuses.

Interesting to hear what Golden Tate had to say about the trade.

Surely they worked out an extension for him if they gave up anything more than a late round pick.

Rumors are saying they're getting SEAs 1st this year (at least)

he'd be worth it.

well those hoping for carolina to trade back and take a wr in the 1st or in the 2nd. I am pretty sure the vikings will take one if not two with their picks now.

Couple of good picks. Clean up the cap.
It's surprising how quick a team can go from "Meh" to "I wish we were them"

I'm hearing the same thing... Their first and maybe more

It's the 25th pick, and there may be more compensation.

meanwhile, we've got "the process"

yay.

The Seahawks have quite a bit of cap room to alleviate losing any picks used for a trade. Gettlemen cannot clean up Hurney's mess overnight.

Seapigeons looked fairly decent last year, this just improves them. Wilson to Harvin seems scary. Russel is no Ponder..

all it takes is a set of balls instead of playing it safe....and that's with personnel moves and coaching.

i'm hoping that gettleman has them. i have my doubts about rivera.
