According to the Twitter accounts of local sports' anchor Mike Cairns, and Zac Jackson of Fox Sports Ohio -- Anderson will not join Rob Chudzinski in Cleveland, instead staying in Carolina to remain Cam Newton's backup in Mike Shula's offense. While Anderson is nothing special, the need to find another quarterback was a burden the organization didn't need right now, with too little money to spend in free agency, and too few draft picks to burn on an addition.
