Meanwhile, Atlanta is about to snag Steven Jackson and Tampa is headed towards Revis Island.
I would of rather kept Gamble and his 8 million dollars.

For all we know, Florence might have a better season than either Jackson or Revis... FB is funny like that.

Did Rivera coach him in SD? Too lazy to look it up.
They crossed paths, but It was while Cottrell was DC. Rivera was only LB coach while Flo was here.

He was one of our better CBs last year (which is really saying nothing at all) when he was able to be on the field. He missed time due to a broken arm, so at least he did't blow out a knee or anything.
I'd say he's a nice pickup as a depth guy in a decent secondary and wouldn't be horribad if he had to step in at starter for injury

worth picking up just for that....as long as vet min., of cours.
probably could teach the young corners some things.
