Joe Person@josephperson
#Panthers offer DT Dwan Edwards a 1-year deal, which sounds like it won't be enough to bring him back. http://blogs.charlotte.com/panthers/

I probably would have offered him a one or two year deal as well. Can't give a guy at his age a big long term contract.

Hope he re-signs with us though. :(

Last year he signed for 1.5 mil.

We can't afford him, especially when there are "Super Bowl Contenders" after him.

He had six sacks and was pretty instrumental. He probably wants more.

he won't get a better offer anywhere else.

the market is low and flat. he'll take the deal. if not...he's replaceable. the DL will be fine.

If you actually read the article, you can tell he is not coming back.

He doesn't want to take a paycut and he wants to win a Super Bowl.

He implied that the Panthers can do neither of that for him.

Move on
