he won't get a better offer anywhere else.

the market is low and flat. he'll take the deal. if not...he's replaceable. the DL will be fine.

I agree he wont be able to make any more elsewhere.
He can be replace also.

He should come back. This is the only place he'd be able to start

If you actually read the article, you can tell he is not coming back.

He doesn't want to take a paycut and he wants to win a Super Bowl.

He implied that the Panthers can do neither of that for him.

Move on

Given the year he had I'd be shocked if he doesn't get more than $1.5 million offered to him. He was one of the top DTs in the league for sacks. I can see a team giving him 4-5 million easy.

His play last year earned him more than a 1 year deal. Unfortunately, we are in no position to offer him otherwise.

Anyone who thinks his play wasn't instrumental to the play of Johnson and Hardy is kidding themselves.

i think thats all we will be offering this year, 1year contracts just like we did when we were looking at OC. this is gettlemens free year. he's going to plug needs with cheap options, draft bpa for the future and wait to get rid of rivera and bring in his own personel.
