It's a good thing we have 3 RBs and didn't need him.

This can go 2 ways: It puts a rocket up Panther's arse and we go gung ho this offseason..

or

we continue to not do anything, let others get better, and have a poo season.

I think I see whats coming...

I feel your pain but thers not much we can do with little cap space and not knowing wether key vets are willing to restructure...

It just amazes me that for such a mediocre team, we're so bad in regards to the cap. One of the worst in finances, one of the worst in the league play. It hurts. And I love the Panthers. Seeing that picture of all 32 team's cap figures does it in for me. When will it end :(

Looks like the Falcan'ts are going to spend all their money on an offense that was already very very good.

And they still have no defensive ends, defensive tackles, or linebackers (save one).

Personally I'm fine with it.

I've read a lot of thoughts about Jackson being washed up but we got burnt buy the washed up RB they just cut every game, almost every year. A washed up) in the Falcons system seems to run over us. I hope we can start a new trend...

I thought for sure he'd go to the Packers. No sweat, though, he'll be no different than what Turner was.

Bad knees?

bad hamstrings, turf toe, pulled groin..even better..but running in the nfl for 8+ years you think his knees are limber?

He will still be playing on turf...

Hopefully it will end with our new GM, but it won't be instantaneous. It will take a year or two for the Hurneymagic to clear through before we find out if our new guy has the goods. We will have to be patient...again.

I believe Jackson is a good pick up for them.. Even though I hate to admit it, the falcons are a Super Bowl contender. They were a few plays short of being in it this year and I was glad they didn't make it :)

A couple of things... The guy who said McClure is retiring.. We drafted Konz last year to be our future center... He will become our center and our stsarting guard that got hurt for the season last year will become our guard this year.

With the cap... We have enough room to make one more move then focus the rest of our needs in the draft (we will get a high comp pick for the Saints signing Lofton last year also) ... I wonder will we resign Grimes and focus on pass rush with our first pick or will we sign Osi (and possibly Abe) then draft a high round CB.

We will see soon... Who ever we get.. We will get them at a good price.

I swear that this board is like Groundhogs Day. Every year during this time, we hear the same old poo from the homers. We all know were this season is heading. Can't wait for the "its only preseason" excuses.
