I feel your pain but thers not much we can do with little cap space and not knowing wether key vets are willing to restructure...
This can go 2 ways: It puts a rocket up Panther's arse and we go gung ho this offseason..
we continue to not do anything, let others get better, and have a poo season.
I think I see whats coming...

And they still have no defensive ends, defensive tackles, or linebackers (save one).
Personally I'm fine with it.

bad hamstrings, turf toe, pulled groin..even better..but running in the nfl for 8+ years you think his knees are limber?
He will still be playing on turf...

It just amazes me that for such a mediocre team, we're so bad in regards to the cap. One of the worst in finances, one of the worst in the league play. It hurts. And I love the Panthers. Seeing that picture of all 32 team's cap figures does it in for me. When will it end
Hopefully it will end with our new GM, but it won't be instantaneous. It will take a year or two for the Hurneymagic to clear through before we find out if our new guy has the goods. We will have to be patient...again.

With the cap... We have enough room to make one more move then focus the rest of our needs in the draft (we will get a high comp pick for the Saints signing Lofton last year also) ... I wonder will we resign Grimes and focus on pass rush with our first pick or will we sign Osi (and possibly Abe) then draft a high round CB.
We will see soon... Who ever we get.. We will get them at a good price.
