Free agency is for filing needs and in the draft you draft best player available. I don't see any needs being filled at all.

Stated it in another thread... FA isn't over, but it's disappointing that some really good players are signing for some really average numbers at this point and we're not adding any.

The first days of free agency is when teams OVER pay.

This team doesn't have the flexibility to OVER pay any free agent since we're already burdened with OVER paying roster players.

He never said he would fill the needs in free agency the first three days.We don't have cap space to sign a big player. Expect cheap 1 year contracts, so players can prove they are worth a big contract.

Considering our cap is not only fugged this year but next year as well and some of our highest paid players, who are on awful contracts, aren't that great or at their prime or out of their prime or have an injury issue, this is to be expected.

Plus FA just started and their are still some decent vets out there. We can probably only afford 1 year deals, which many payers don't want to sign specially this early in FA.

No money...

Right now he is doing what Hurn- dawg would be doing.

He just needs to axe some of Hurney's boys....can't do it all under the most ideal conditions

Honestly, almost all the 2nd tier FA that could help us are gone. This FA has moved faster then others from the past few years, it's not just the Mike Wallace's that got signed the first few days, Phillips and Canty are already gone. We are fugged.
