Norman
Dockery
Ness
Florence
Cason
I like it. The roster isn't jizz-tastic but it's solid for the pass-rush we feature.

Why does it matter who he was replacing? haha
That means nothing about who he is as a player.
Throughout his career, he's been decent. One great season, 3 mediocre seasons, and 1 terrible season.
He can be a Chris Gamble. Nothing great or spectacular, but will get the job done.

Ness is an FA and you're missing Hixon.

According to Panthers.com, CBS Sports and ESPN, Ness is still a Panther.
He's an unrestricted free agent but I doubt he'll be signed by another team. Nate will likely find himself back onto our practice squad.

i remember in 2011 when he allowed 3 TDs to plaxico burress and got benched despite being their "up and coming" first rounder.

Revis and Bailey got beat several times in their rookie campaigns too, point?
Cason was a disappointment but he excelled when he wasn't asked to do much. I think he'll fit into our system just fine (as long as we don't make him our starter).

Get him to recruit Cason, Ness and Cason played in the same defensive backfield at Arizona

2011 was his 4th season...

You phrased your statement as if he was still labeled an 'up and comer' in 2011.
Cason got torched multiple times during his career at San Diego but when he was used in limited doses he made good plays against opposing QBs and WRs here and there.
