Letterman on Sarah Palin's daughter after the two attended a Yankee game.

Palin attended the game with her 14 year old daughter Willow.

The right versus left media double standard on display.

Sarah is grandstanding, but I'd love to see Todd Palin punch Letterman in the nose.

I saw this the other day, and didnt think anything of it then. When he was making the joke I just thought of her older daughter that has already had a kid and not the 14 year old. I figured thats what he was doing as well. I dont see the harm in this joke.

Dear Sarah,

You don't go putting your pregnant daughter and her boy lover on the stage for your nomination, tell us they are getting married, then find out they really were not getting married, then have both of them sell their back and forth accusations to tabloids without expecting media parody and jokes at their expense. Your family is the political version of the Kardashians. Deal with it.

Reality.

MSNBC suspended correspondent David Shuster this afternoon for making a disparaging remark about Chelsea Clinton as officials in her mother's campaign raised the possibility of punishing the network by pulling out of a planned debate in Cleveland.

While filling in as an anchor yesterday, Shuster was discussing the 27-year-old's role in Hillary Clinton's campaign when he asked: "Doesn't it seem as if Chelsea is sort of being pimped out in some weird sort of way?"

Howard Wolfson, the campaign's communications director, denounced the prostitution metaphor, calling it "disgusting," "beneath contempt" and "the kind of thing that should never be said on a national news network."
