Itd be a great addition.

Drayton, Norman, Moore, Thomas and Dockey. I can live with that. Not great but good.

Who is going to start? Shouldn't we make an effort to have starters at some point?

Florence and Moore, sure, nice nickelbacks, but maybe we should consider that we still need starters at the position.

Looks like Thomas and Florence will start with DJ Moore likely being #3.

The Chicago Tribune does not expect free agent CB D.J. Moore to re-sign with the Bears.
Moore was benched last season, falling behind nickel corner Kelvin Hayden. With defensive backs coach Jon Hoke still in town, it's unlikely the new regime will change its tune. Moore is our No. 38 corner available in free agency. Feb 27 - 9:19 AM

Hey guys remember when I was all like hey we need corners we should sign this kelvin Hayden guy he'd help, and you guys were like psh we don't sign players that help! That's not the way the panthers build!!

Well now were trying to scrounge a deal with the guy he sent to the bench.

I feel you man. I'm only trying to keep myself from putting a bullet through my head. I hate this franchise for the last 4 years and soon will be 5.

There's better corner than Hayden in FA right now

I was just addressing how terrible the panthers modus operandi is.

These "bargin" players are the Sean Smiths too..we are doing this wrong. He got 6mil a year and has set the market...all cheaper than Gamble..by 4 mil.

Overpaying for camp fodder is what we do best.

Probably going to get blasted for saying so, but our CBs are young. Look at what Thomas did after being given a few years to matrure. When we went to the super bowl, we were set at S, LB, and DL. Our CBs were below average. The Giants were not known for elite CB talent either.

Thomas was given some time to develop, and he was solid. Dockery looks very decent, and will be better when we get a stud DT or two. Florence was never on a team with a great pass rush. Norman was a 5th round rookie who could be much improved in 2013.

Gettlemen said he was looking beyond 2013. Allowing your young talent to develop is part of that, with cheap veterans as insurance. Maybe he is determined to see what we actually have at CB, to allow it to develop.

It looks as though he is going to address CB in the bargain basement of free agency. Not a bad plan because I think there is something in Dockery, Thomas, and Nornan.--
