Game 29: Carolina Hurricanes (15-11-2) vs. Florida Panthers (7-16-6)

56 posts in this topic

The Hurricanes are back at home after that rough road trip as they take on Florida tonight. The Canes regained first (due to games in hand) last night in a shootout loss to New York and will look to get back on track tonight and retake sole possession of first in the Southeast division with a win over Florida and a Jets loss against Boston.

The Canes will roll with the following lineup...

Tlusty - E. Staal - Semin

Skinner - J. Staal - Dwyer

Bowman - Nash - Jokinen

Westgarth - Brent - Hall

Harrison - Faulk

Gleason - Sanguinetti

Pitkanen - McBain

Ellis

Peters

Inactive: Tim Wallace

Injured: Tuomo Ruutu (hip), Chad LaRose (concussion), Joe Corvo (lower body), Cam Ward (knee)

As far as things for the Panthers go, George Parros the "tough guy" is day-to-day, where as Jose Theodore, Michael Caruso, Ed Jovanovski, Mike Weaver, Dmitry Kulikov, Stephen Weiss, and Kris Versteeg are all out.

Go Canes!!!

    • Yeah I agree with everyone but the Jets. Although they obviously have other needs they seem to be in full on tank mode. Drafting Adams and trading Pryor is a nice way to draft a solid play with not having too much impact year 1.  They draft someone like Fournette they could end up getting a couple W's just with his legs alone.
    • Give me some of damn STEWART too man. That's disrespecting
