both Idonije and Hardy can play DE and DT. Johnson - Idonije - Hardy - Alexander would be a scary pass rushing force. Then grab a monster NT in the draft - or even a Casey Hampton type.

How much do you think he would cost on a one or two year deal? Id sign him way before Dwan. At 33 he cant be swamped with offers.

The giants used to run a lot of personnel with Tuck spending a whole season at DT.

Why would you even consider him? We have two very good DEs and a future in Alexander. We definitely need DT before DE.

He wouldn't be worth it. Too much cap space and that would probably mean we wouldn't resign Hardy who it better than him

he played about 1/3 of his snaps at DT for the Bears last year. he is 6'6 and 275 as well as a very solid run defender. obviously he has been a very good pass rusher the past three seasons.

I understand the need for a big ole dt, but he is a better player than all the dt left on the market, so I say time to get creative

News flash: Dwan was terrible against the run, and who says he can't gain weight?

Trade CJ, pick up a 2nd or 3rd Draft DE,DT,OL with first 3 picks. You still have a great DLine, upgraded your Oline while lowering your cap hits..
