It'd probably take a cap miracle, but I'd love to see the Panthers somehow manage to sign Kevin Boothe now.

Not just because it would be a good move - which it would - but to watch the full blown fangasm that would erupt in this place

I said earlier if we could get Booth and Alan Branch I would be hyped beyond belief.

First off Dork, I never said Cam acts or talks like a thug, in fact, he is the furthest from being a thug. What I said was, he needs to learn how to conduct himself like a grown man during interviews and act the leader of the team instead of a kid. That is why Denver ripped him apart and mocked him til I saw a tear drop in his eyes. As a NFL quarterback he is held to a higher standard.

As for that Kuechly thing, just wait and see if we don't upgrade the linebacker position and see him get torched on the 3rd and longs when the defense needs to get off the field. You will see how many games we let slip threw our fingers again before I pull up this thread and say that I was right. At that point I don't want to have to thump you from my pubs saying I told you so, but I will.

thunderkatt is a known idiot. he was one of the "cam needs to learn how to not talk like a thug" dipshits from last season.

Well, he is most definetly a body catcher.

But by the 6 game of the season it was oblivious that Everybody knew the offense and were better players then legatron. But it took Rivera until game 11 or 13 to make the switch. So again Rivera use of the depth chart is a question mark sometimes.

Again, new scheme, no offseason....Legatron was strictly on the field to make sure the guys knew what they where doing. 6 games in with hardly an offseason to install a new scheme isn't long....especially since the packages and gameplans change week to week

Definitely. He even had the ball smacked out of his hands after a big catch and run. Best we can hope for is some bombs down the sideline. Wouldn't send him over the middle, that's for sure.

He can be a good WR. He's blazing fast. Ted Ginn Burns Revis.
Btw, Isn't Revis going to the Bucs?

Yea. I'm a huge Patterson fan and i was adamant about the possiblity of taking him at 14, but this kind of stuff is what worries me. Sure I think he could transition well catching with his hands, as I've read he is very coachable. But at the same time look at Ginn. Same kind of player.

And you know the huddle is going to go ballistic when Ginn drops that much needed pass. That's why I'm refraining from all of the "he can get better with better QB player" talk.

It's looking that way, but for a 1st and second round which is insane.

That was also the only receiving TD he had that season. (he had two as a kick returner)

Don't post often but is this thunderkatt tard saying that if we don't upgrade our Luke/ our LB's that they will be the reason we lose games because of poor coverage on 3rd and longs???

Hahahahahaha

http://www.catscratchreader.com/2013/3/3/4033064/patterson-v-jones <--good read on why taking Patterson at #14 would be a mistake. If he was still available in the 2nd round, I think you jump on him.

As for Ginn, best move would be to put him in on 3rd and long situations and use him in the option/reverse packages. You have Olsen, LaFell and Smith as your primary options but not much behind them.
