Sheldon Richardson, Desmond Trufant. Both are severely, severely overrated.

Please explain how Desmond Trufant is severely overrated lol.

He is the only corner in this draft that plays his man instead of the ball.

We should pass up getting a receiver and do something like take another 4-3 DE when we already have 3 very good ones. Glad the Gm job is not open to fans.

You seriously have Lane Johnson on your "do not want" list? A talent like that guy is something you don't pass up in the middle of the first round.

I would be oppose to it if we keep Gross. People just wont admit that Bell is going to be the starting RT for the next couple of years, unless something happen.

Franchise OTs come through the Draft every single year. Not a single year where you're going to find a draft class without franchise OTs. Next year may even be better or just as good (Matthews, Lewan, etc). We're not going to die this year by not taking Lane Johnson. Especially, when Gross is eating our cap and we have severe needs at other positions I'd pass on an OT in the 1st.

Are you that opposed to taking a guard in the first, too?

Nope, I would highly consider a Guard (Warmack/Cooper) at 14. WHy? bc thats a need as of right now.
OT isnt. Its bad but we can live through 2013 with and aging Gross and Bell. 2014, I'll be chanting a Matthews, Lewan, etc bc then it'll be a huge need. I cant see Gross as a Panthers in 2014.

If we can sign Boothe or someone else, Id then cross RG off the draft needs but right now I would consider it.

Trufant is allergic to contact. Incredible instincts for where the play is going, but doesnt finish plays like he should. Add that to the fact that he isnt even the best cover corner in the draft and his stock should be no higher than late 1st round.

You know who that sounds like? Chris gamble.

I don't care if he doesn't like contact, that can be worked on. And he's a corner so big fuggin deal.

Trufant has some of the best ball skills in the draft for a DB and he's the only corner that plays his man instead of the ball. Not to mention he has the speed to stick with any receiver.

Because he isn't the #1 rated corner means that he won't go until the end of the first? Are you fugging kidding me? Do you ever watch the draft? Do you remember stephon Gilmore last season?

Have fun sucking off Trufant until the draft. Oh and learn to read. I didn't say it was because he wasn't the #1 rated corner, I said it was because he doesn't play tough or tackle, and also isn't the best cover corner of the draft (which would allow him some lee-way in the physicality department).

He has the best ball skills? Are you kidding me? Maybe the best at diagnosing a play, but he actually is subpar in locating and disrupting the ball when it's in the air. I have said it before, he is a poor man's Antonio Cromartie with worse hands. He could be very good, but I just don't see the effort needed to be worth the 14th pick.

Sucking off a player because I think he's worth a top 15 pick like tons of other scouts? Trufant's best attributes an potential out weigh his contact issues. He is definitely one of the better cover corners and has been playing at a high level since he was a true freshman.

Where are you getting your info from?

Vaccaro... think he's the 3rd-4th best safety in the draft.
