"You have to call the Panthers losers in free agency so far, unless you want to give them credit for leading the league in signing mediocre defensive backs"

So the Panthers are losers in FA, yet everyone else in the NFC South is a winner?

Not saying we've done great, but considering what everyone else has gained/lossed.... we're right with them. No team has significantly improved or gotten worse.

He says the Saints are winners yet they lose their best Offensive Lineman and have yet to sign one (Here's CJ on the Saints losing Bushrod)

charles johnson@randywattson12 Mar

Big lost for the saints Bushrod was there best OLinemen!#grinchsmile

The Bucs are winners because they overpaid a safety?

If anything Atlanta is the big winners of the division even though most of their players they signed are relatively old

I'm extremely happy with who we've signed in FA especially with our cap situation... If we find a way to land Kevin Boothe I'd give this FA a solid B+ to a A-

although very true, somebody has to be a loser and not even 2 days ago 80% of this board would have probably agreed, regardless of how premature it would have been and still is because FA isn't even over yet.

He's a tool because he's not sucking our teams dick? It's true, our FA has been terrible as usual. Everyone in the division has gotten better but us.

Here we go with the fuging melodramatic divas, Falcons released John Abraham and signed a rb who's been ran in the ground, and they've gotten better? Bullshit

Yeah it's not like our GM is trying to clean up a salary cap disaster from Marty Hurney and has little wiggle room or anything right. Hey every huddler here would love to sign top free agents and spend cash like we have a billion dollars, but we live in the real world.

Exactly,

They lost Abraham, Robinson, Turner, McClure and will probably lose Grimes.

Yes, they brought in S-Jax, but hes good for what..one year?

His latest blog entry aside he's worthless to fans looking for good panther info and insight. Every now and again he gets the contract breakdowns I'm assuming from his espn connections but he sucks at his job and I am amazed ESPN keeps him.

To be fair, wouldn't it take MUCH less effort to improve the Panthers than the Falcons?

In fairness....all we have done is lose Chris Gamble and sign weak secondary players and a return man.

All in all, that makes us a little worse....

All they need him for is 1 yr....they are in win now mode not building for the future mode.

since the saints have not signed a tackle, do you think they may be trying to trade up for one of the 3 top tackles?
