Bennett reminds me a lot of Al Jefferson.

Not trying to get in an argument or anything but people are starting to compared Oladipo's ATHLETICISM (Not game) to Jordan's.

Best Case: I see Bennett as a Millsap/Jefferson type of player

Best Case: I see Oladipo as an Andre Iguodala type of player.

I like Oladipo, but he has major weaknesses for a SG. I really see him as an MKG type player at the next level. A guy that can give lots of energy, score in transition and play very good defense. The main problem is that we always have MKG, and can't afford to have two poor shooters, because our floor spacing would suffer badly with both of them out there. Of course you could bring him off the bench, and assuming Henderson keeps scoring 20 ppg... I don't see anyone starting over him (Hendo).

*I know that Olapido has hit the college three well this season, but I just don't see him as a guy with anything more than average range at the NBA level*

all i'm worried about is the 2014 draft. that can make us turn the corner, i just hope we can find a decent role player in this draft

i have moved into "the safest pick" camp

and I think the safest pick is Noel- the biggest need is the PF/C position and he wont even play til midseason- which will probably give us another good chance at the lottery to pick up Jabari Parker or Andre Wiggins

I don't think taking a guy who is recovering from an ACL injury is exactly "safe". Noel in my opinion is the riskiest pick. He may not be fully healthy, but he does have untapped potential. I see Noel as a boom or bust player.

My favorite prospects are...

1. Victor Oladipo
2. Nerlens Noel
3. Anthony Bennett
4. Alex Len
5. Ben McLemore

this is a terrible year to have the top pick but I'd much rather have Portland's pick next year in what looks to be a far better draft class; also at this point I think whoever is picking number one will take Noel and his potential

I like [background=rgb(242, 242, 242)]Bennett [/background]or Noel if the Bobcat's only have one pick. If they get Portland's pick then I think they should go with Noel/Bennett at the top and Olynyk/Carter-Williams with the 14th.

Lineup would be either

Walker/ Sessions
Henderson/ Gordan
MKG/Taylor/Adrien
Bennett/ McRoberts/Thomas
Bismack/Olynyk/Mullens

or

Walker/Carter-Williams
Henderson/Sessions/Gordan
MKG/Taylor.Adrien
Noel/McRoberts/Thomas
Bismack/Mullens

Personally, I like the first option more, but the second one does give the bench some serious punch and flexibility.

Oladipo is too similar to MKG (who's going to be very good). Good on D and slashing, but don't offer much of a jump shot

I'm actually pretty happy with our 1-3. Kemba has played like top 10 PG this season (by pretty much every advanced metric). Henderson with his surge since the All Star break has moved into the #5 spot in PER as well as Estimated Wins Added. MKG has been a weak spot by some advanced metrics, but he is also our best one on on defender according to MySynergySports. I'm not a huge fan of PER to judge talent, but it is a pretty good measure of efficiency. Our 1-3 is actually fairly strong. Our 4-5 are historically bad, although McBob has been pretty good lately, but he's not the future starter at the 4 spot. In saying that, I'm always for drafting the best player available, but since no one has really separated themselves as THE top player -- I am all in for Noel, and if he's not available then I'd like to get Bennett. The only thing that I really dislike about Bennett is that he doesn't really provide defense... at all. However, he is a good rebounder, a good scorer, has great range for a big, is capable of playing the 3 at times, and is just a very athletic forward. I hope that he measures in at 6-8 at least, because if not then our front court will be very tiny with him and Biz.
