What do you think about this kid?

i was watching videos of top rated DTs and for me this is the most impressive DT of the top five.

I am especialy impressed by his ability to locate the football!

No.

44? Maybe.

Short is probably who I hate the most out of this class of DTs.

2011:6.5 sacks, 17.5 TFL

2012: 7 sacks, 15.5 TFL

2011:2 sacks, 8 TFL

2012:4 sacks, 10.5 TFL

2011:1.5 sacks, 6.5 TFL

2012: 3 sacks, 13 TFL

Guess who these players are. Don't buy into hype machines, Short is easily the best UT in this class

I think so, his ability to spot the RB is impressive.

Kuelchy was not a need..

LB was a need esp with the health of Davis.

On top of that, you cant even begin to compare Kuek's college numbers and Shorts. Completely diff class of players

With that said, I could live with Short in the 2nd. Would prefer Williams, Jenkins, Hunter, Hopkins, or Taylor though.

He is a solid UT

I have seen some other clips on you tube where I am not impressed. However, I am not a good judge of DTs.

We definitely had bigger needs, but with Beason coming off an achilles injury, I would say that we had a need. Funny but out MLBs seem to enter as OLBs and quickly get moved inside as a result of injury.

I am concerned about all the DTs in the draft--when half bust, there is no certainty. Nick Fairley of Auburn supposedly is not doing well. Sedric Ellis, Glenn Dorsey, etc. I do not know why, but many bust.

I would just as soon bring in free agents or draft one later. They scare me.

*cough* well same for me since my previous DTs were McClain sigh.. and Jaye Howard, i still think Jaye is a good DT for the Seahawks, but he is not playing..
