Yeah I had already corrected the post.

Right on man, I thought he played outside as well before I looked him up.

I like the signing, yes he's slow but not everyone is going to be as athletic and fast as Kuechly, Davis, and Beason. Blackburn will provide good depth with Senn, Williams, and possibly Onatolu.

Yup good signing. Whether we wanted to admit it or not we needed an insurance policy for Davis and Beason especially after Anderson was let go. Chase, aside from being very solid depth, is a veteran presence and has Super Bowl experience and has seen what it takes to get there.

Still need to bring in a guard and DT though.

Well considering he was a UDFA signing by Giants in 2005 and his salary last year was around $825k, I'd say the odds are pretty fuging good.

Hahahahaha

With all the FA moves being on the defensive side of the ball, it's hard not to think we're going WR of O-Line with the #14

Great signing! Love Chase Blackburn.
Great move on Gettleman's part. Added depth to MLB/OLB.

I cant believe what Im seeing on some of the posts on here. People actually dislike this move??? But, mad they we loss Jason Phillips? WOW! Phillips and Senn are no Chase Blackburn. A lot of people are going to love this guy once the season starts.

And Blackburn brings in something we lack on this team. A former SB winner. He can flash that ring to everyone in the locker room.

Is anyone else happy that we are signing players that you have at least heard of? I got so tired of asking myself "Who?" everytime we signed someone.

Great signing. I was beginning to worry about our linebacker depth. Even without the draft, our team looks pretty solid right now, and there's no place to go but up.

Not a fan of Blackburn. I guess he's a solid backup, but very unathletic and a career overachiever.

They're going to basically end up paying less at SLB when all is said and done for similar production

It's basically the same thing I suggested they could do at the RB position, but instead it's with Anderson.

Overachiever beats an underachiever...he'll get used efficiently I'd suspect.
