he took an outright pay cut to stay with the team, and he can start if necessary, which means he's decent depth/special teams. a good move by gettleman

You get the feeling Gettleman knows what he's doing. Not overpaying for players and adding solid depth.

Someone doesn't know who Chase Blackburn is? lol

Pantherclaw must be just an occasional Panther only viewer. I mean we even played the Giants last season. One of our worst games of the year, if not the worst. I guess he missed that one. As well as every other non-Panther game to not know who Blackburn is. Just about every analyst slobers over the NFC East.

From speaking with some of the Giant fans in the Wilmington area... they have expressed he is an emotional player and one of their favorites. Wilmington is a melting pot of mostly northern NFL teams- unfortunately.

Just go read Giants message boards. Reading people in here calling Blackburn slow, etc...is all true but Giants fans say that he was a spark plug, always made big plays, and was a lunch pale type player.

I like this signing.

should we get a vote going, shithead?

you are the least informed poster at, well, everything on here and you continue to post here despite the fact that nobody values your opinion.

Also completely ignore the part where you whiffed at the fact that we just signed the guy that made arguably the biggest play of Superbowl 46.

I Voted

not reading through nine pages to see if this has been posted yet

it's his plays against the redskins from 2012. skip to the end to see him forcing the game ending fumble.

Lunch PAIL, not pale. And while we're at it, it's shore up, not sure up. Had to get that off my chest, really bugged me.

You must not really follow football if you don't know who he is.

Solid pick up

Really solid pick up. I was hoping we'd pick up a linebacker with the injury history of our 2 OLB, and the earliest we could possibly afford to pick a LB in the draft is 4th or 5th round. Gettleman get us a NT and let's get some playmakers in the draft!
