Is Beason going to restructure?

Makes for a bigger problem later.

I agree, just saying it's possible. Frankly, I don't think we've ruled out cutting/trading him after June 1. But I have no basis for thinking that, it's just my opinion.

Not bloody likely.

As has been restated many times...

Unleas beason takes a paycut (high.unlikely IMO).....

The panthers will gain nothing.by restructuring beason.

Beason is safe from being traded, cut or restructured this year but if he wants to remain a Panther, he'll have to restructure his contract eventually. Same goes for Johnson. They can't expect to stay in Carolina and get grossly overpaid.

I hope so along with Dwill. We're a couple players (NT, WR, FS, RG) and consistency away from being a contender.

Yeah, it's hurneys fault beason was one of the best mlb in tbe game, and deserved to be paid as such.

Well, I think Beason earned his contract but he's been injured for two years in a row. However, if Jon amasses 125 tackles, 3 sacks and 2 interceptions, then all that contract talk will quiet down somewhat.

I think that we probably over paid CJ by a few milion a year when we did his contract. But, we were scared that he would bolt for Atlanta (I think he would have if the money were the same).

We made him an offer that he could not refuse and that even surprised him.
