I can't believe you guys still believe in Gettis. He had a mediocre rookie season on a really bad team. Someone had to get targets and he made a few catches. He then sat out for 2 years with an injury Adrian Peterson only needed 8 months to heal from. I don't think he's the incredible athlete and worker you guys think he is.

If Armanti makes the team I will be happy because it means he earned it. He doesn't have Marty the Guardian Angel anymore. He did make a few plays for us last season, it wasn't 100% bad, more like 75%.

I think Hixon is a nice player with good measurables. The wild card is his health. I feel like Gettleman knows him better than we ever will and he obviously has interest.

Joe Adams is guaranteed nothing. He was worse than Armanti last year, really, he was.

There are tons of variables but regardless of Hixon we could definitely draft a WR in the first two rounds. Personally I feel like both lines are a bigger need.

Color me happy if we sign 2 more WR, and spend at least an early and a late round pic on 2 more.

If we get Hixon that would be great. Insta-upgrade from what we had in Murphy. BUT I do not want a Hixon signing to mean we aren't picking WR in the 1st round

I'd rather have Alan Branch and draft a wr round 1-2

Are you serious? Cole may not even may the cut. He could be just a camp body

I am not making any assertions about what we will do in the first 2 rounds. But, Ginn and possibly Hixon are NOT top flight WR's....and Di not appear to solve our WR issues.

I am smart enough to admit that I have no idea what the staff will do.

You, on the other hand, have shown over and over that you are ignorant and dumb enough to think that you do.

Hixon makes our depth better, he would be a great signing.

Smith and Lafell are literally the only receivers on the roster with total job security.

This is the fact that continually goes unnoticed here.

You can add Ginn to the list. He'll at least make it as our returner.

There isn't a WR worth picking at 14 in this draft.

I'm on the Tavon Austin bandwagon but wherever we decide to go in the draft I'm going to approve of

Agreed.

I'm not hot on Patterson or Allen. I rather take a WR in the second. Besides, I got a good feeling about Lamont Bryant. I'm not gonna bet the farm on him cuz he's raw as hell but his intangibles are Calvin Johnson-like.

IMO, you absolutely can make certain assumptions about what Gettlemen will do. His history should be a great indicator of his future. He will probably draft from the normal pool of positions. OT, DE, and WR very well could be the pick. We don’t need QB or RB, so please don’t go there.

This draft will go a long way in determining fans allegiances toward Gettlemen. If he doesn’t blow it out, folks may not take to kindly to that. However, if he does blow it out. There’s gonna be a whole lotta fapping goin’ on.

Build your lines, and draft TD makers. Sounds good to me. Although, I will admit, I really would feel more confident if we actually did address RG.
