What Cities Look Like w/ No Pollution

Recommended Posts

I live in a small little town in Northern Arizona where everybody rides a bike and the city most be dark so the people at the observatory can look at the sky. Those pictures are B.S. You can see a few more stars, but nothing along those lines.

Bullshit. I lived in 3rd world country where we had minimal pollution and our government shut off power to whole city around 7pm everyday. You do see a lil more stars but none of that photoshopped poo.

Unless that city was in a remote area, there can still be significant light pollution

This is a photograph of the night sky over Flagstaff, AZ, which is protected by light ordinances

You can really get a good look at the Milky Way from the NC outer banks. The summer I lived in Corolla it was pretty amazing to see that every night.
