Just a few gems. Courtesy of Mr. Scot. Not white knighting for the guy or anything though, nope not at all.

Wrote most of that while I was off on disability last year (misdiagnosed with multiple sclerosis).

Fair amount of that was written as much because people were accusing me of racism because I wasn't sold on Newton.

And let's be honest: That's what you're looking to try and do here too. You just don't wanna come out and say it.

The accusation is pretty baseless, but hey, much easier to try and paint someone as a racist than to actually argue the facts, right? (especially when they're not on your side)

You are such a hypocrite. You talk about baseless accusations in one breath and then accuse everyone who has the audacity to disagree with your flimsy "facts" of doing nothing more than race baiting. Get a grip.

If you mean top tier in college, that's an easy one. Jimmy Clausen. He pretty much ripped Clausen a new one.

Other examples: Said Ryan Mallett was immature and made lousy decisions. Wasn't that big a fan of Jake Locker either. Had questions about Andy Dalton. Said Christian Ponder wasn't good enough to be a starter.

On the flipside, thought Colin Kaepernick had intriguing upside, and had plenty of good things to say about Josh Freeman. They did say that JaMarcus Russell was lazy though. Guess that must have been racist, huh?

As far as the stuff you quoted above on Geno Smith, look above. I have no idea where that stuff is coming from. It runs counter to what I've heard, and as a WVU fan, I've read plenty about Smith.

My personal belief: That information is wrong, but taking the additional leap to say it's race-based? Not buying it. I've cited my evidence above as to why. Do you have any evidence to counter with>

I've already addressed Jimmy's limo situation as well as PFW directly cited his private school background (unmentioned: he grew up in a very ritzy town) and the fact that his parents bought him a house in South Bend as direct causes/examples of his elitism.

I asked for baseless examples. Still your move.

A couple of yours from earlier...

Here we go again with the holier than though routine. Come on Mr. Scot, step your game up.

You keep going on and on about race, who exactly are you trying to convince? Hey you've already proven your loyalty to the guy in the last thread about him and our franchise quarterback. Remember that one? We definitely know your opinion by now. There is nothing to debate with you about if you can't see what's in front of you.

You really are showing your true colors today. The only poster in this thread talking about race right now is you sir. It's ironic you chided another poster about getting their panties in a wad. I'm hearing little debate and mostly misplaced hostility from you. Enjoy your evening.

And this from Delhommey (which I find disappointing because he's generally better than that)...

Well if stirs and Mr Scot say someone's not racist...

But yeah, nobody's race-baiting, right?

I'm not seeing anything in those posts consisting of "Mr. Scot is a racist". Try again.

I have never called Nawrocki a duck. I've just pointed out his webbed feet, waddle, and incessant quacking.

Guessing you missed where I mentioned the parts about the Geno Smith profile that I thought were baseless.

But see, here's the thing. Every one of these things has a "base" but it's found in someone's evaluation, which is essentially an opinion except where it cites particular incidents in the player's background.

Sometimes those opinions are wrong, but "wrong" isn't synonymous with "racist". And I've given you plenty of examples where white QBs had highly negative personal items in their evaluation. There are worse ones than those, mind you, but I was sticking with names people would recognize.

I'm still waiting for you to show me something that proves the negative elements of the analyses are based on race. If you're sure that they are, you should be able to find evidence of it, right?

Unless of course, you can't.

Blue Boy's "racist lover" post was deleted.

But since you're not convinced, how bout if I just ask you directly. Do you think I'm a racist?

And don't cop out with "I don't know". You have an opinion. Have the guts to say it.

And while you're at it, if you say "yes" then surely you'll have posts of mine that back it up, right? By all means, link them in.

Blue Boy has to be someone having a good time with an alt, let's not even use him as an example please.

No I don't think you are a racist. I'm pretty sure I've said this before. I will say that you have blinders on to certain things though.

Translation: "I don't need evidence. The accusation is enough."

Bravo on that forward thinking.

Guess what? I think there are things you're wrong about too. I like to call it "disagreeing".

Appreciate the statement. In the future, refrain from making any about implications about my character and I'll do the same for you.

Deal?

Can't find them on your own or just trying to deflect?

Frankly, there aren't many things in PFW that I've found completely "baseless". The Geno Smith thing mentioned above is one. As for other stuff, I'd say some of it was poor interpretation, just plain wrong thinking or bad sources (which is what I attribute the Newton stuff to, and could well be the story with Smith as well) but the vast majority of the analysis - as in the above examples - has been largely on target.

Bottom Line: The "baseless" stuff isn't the norm, and if you actually took the time to read more than just the one or two profiles cited here, you might be able to see that.

Except, of course, that you don't seem to want to see that, which I'd guess is why you're avoiding actually examining any draft profiles other than Newton's or Smith's. Easier to just deflect and declare victory, right?
