2013 LA DODGERS Thread

Clayton Kershaw with another brilliant pitching performance tonight.

8.2 shutout innings with 11 strike outs.

Kershaw now boasts a 1.40 ERA for the season. In 9 starts he's allowed just 10 earned runs this year.

Now 4-2 but if the Dodgers could actually get a base hit with a runner in scoring position he'd be 9-0 easily.

In 4 starts he's given up zero earned runs, twice just 1 earned run, a 2 run and two 3 earned run efforts.

Tonight he did what must be done and scored his team's 1st run, the only run he would need.

What it was like to be a National batter this evening;

Since i can't start threads i figured this would be the most appropriate place to put this.

MIKE TROUT JUST HIT FOR THE CYCLE!!!

Gotta love this kid angels fan or not. I've been a diehard angels fan my whole life and got Trout to sign my jersey when i went to Minneapolis to see the angels play this year. Great kid. Maybe this will spark some life into the Halos. But with horrible pitching and a list of other things wrong, i highly doubt it.

Why would dodgers fans appreciate an angels player??

I was being sarcastic. I don't like any dodgers players, but i have no problem with saying Kershaw is one of the games best pitchers. Just like id like to think you could say the same about Trout.

The only other thread i saw was the Pujols one but i figured I'd just put it in this one. Not like these LA teams are giving us much else to be excited about.

    • Another thing that jumped out to me that I didn't expect was that Philly Brown seemed to get a lot more playing time than I remembered.    I like Philly a lot, but it's not surprising we didn't re-sign him. He didn't do much with the playing time we gave him.
