What do Steve Smith, Armanti Edwards, Joe Adams, Kealoha Pilares, James Shaw, and Ted Ginn all have in common?

If you said they were Panther receivers under 5'11" you would be correct!!!!!

If we draft a receiver, I hope he is at least 6'

Patterson?

I get the meaning, but DeSean Jackson is only 5'10 and we do have LaFell.

Well, name me a receiver in Panthers history that is considered good who's over 5'11, other than Moose.

Height matters huh?

No to Patterson. I just don't see him being able to give something in right away. I have Austin, Keenan, Hunter, and Woods ahead of Pat

If Star falls that would be my dream, but I doubt he's there at 14.

In 2012, lets look at the league leading touchdown recievers

James Jones (14) 6’1’’

Erin Decker (13) 6’4’’

Dez Bryant (12) 6’2’’

A.J. Green (11) 6’4’’

Rob Gronkowski (11) 6’6’’

Brandon Marshall (11) 6’4’’

Marques Colston (10) 6’4’’

Victor Cruz (10) 6’0’’

Actually, not a single player under 6' caught more than 8 TD passes. I would say height matters

If Austin is still on the board at 14, I hope we take the poo out of him...

Then we can mock the other 13 teams ahead of us for years to come for being so dumb...

We are bringing in some tall WRs, and we are looking for small college gems. We have WR free agents coming in, and we signed one.

Signs are not pointing toward Austin.

We have an offense made out of prolific kick returners! It is actually getting rather ridiculous

Let's look at their QBs: Brady, Peyton, Eli, Brees, Rodgers.

We need good receivers. Not tall receivers.

Or maybe, it is the tall receivers that make QBs elite? The truth lies somewhere in between

If Star falls to 14, I want em. Otherwise Allen (not sold on Austin), Richardson, or Trufant.

44 Justin Hunter.

Yea, I don't particularly want Austin at #14. He could be good but it's too risky in my opinion. I'd take Hunter or Hopkins at 14 over Austin. I wouldn't be upset if we took Austin, but he's not in my top 5 or so at #14.

Curious. Would you take Warmack if Tavon Austin were still available?

Cyprien at 14, 220lb safety, my sleeper pick.
