Screw that greasy haired fugball.

I realize he's giving us props. I just hate him.

It didn't paste like I thought it would. Says that if Panthers can get a DT in first and S in second that Panthers will be, "off to the races." Says Richardson or Williams at 14.

If Tampa Bay really get Star I'm going to be so sad.

That would suck. Just one pick before us to a division rival.

Lol at DT being Kiper's new TE for us.

"this is the year! This is the year they do it! For real this time!"

Does this guy even know we've shown virtually zero interest in the position?

Surprised he doesn't have us taking Zack Ertz in the first...

Make that Justin Hunter in the 2nd, then we'll be off to the races.

I think it will be reversed. Kenny Vaccaro in the first (provided Star doesn't slip to us), and Kawann Short in the 2nd.

Oh and BTW, if Star slips to 12, there is no way in hell we don't trade up to steal him from the Bucs. We would only give up a 5th or so, solidify our front seven, and steal him from a division rival. That's a no-brainer move. I'll even contend that if Star slips to #10 we start making calls to move up. He's too good.

I like it. If you give us the best defense in this division. We win the division.

The same Kiper that called The Jimmy the most pro-ready QB in 2010.

Cyprien or Austin/Allen in the first.
Best WR/DT in the second.

Every draft analyst has a Jimmy moment. Mayock loved Jamarcuss Russell.

I really don't think there is a safety worthy of the 14th pick this year, but I'd love one in the second. WR, then S.

Give us 2 impact defensive starters at DT and in the Secondary. We will win this division. None of the Teams can stop us on offense in this division. With some addition on defense we can stop them.

I think if Cyprien played in the SEC he would be a sure fire top 15 pick. We have shown quite a bit of interest in him and knowing that we were going to select Barron last year I'd say Rivera knows safety is a pretty big need and he shouldn't be ruled out. I think Cyprien is definitely on our radar at 14 assuming we do not trade down.

Many scouts still say the Russels pro day was the best they have ever seen.

The putz just didn't have the work ethic once he was paid.

TB landing Star at #13 would be a tremendous kick in the balls.

I've thought about that as well. If we get say a safety and a big bodied defensive tackle that can start week one I think our defense will be able to hold every divisional opponent in check while our offense scores enough to win assuming Shula does his job. We are just a couple pieces away on defense from having a very good one and those pieces could be filled in the first couple rounds. Our pass rushers, with a 1st or 2nd round prospect at DT along with Dwan, should continue to eat up the average o lines in our division. We have the best pass rushers and linebackers in the division and its not really that close.

we have to upgrade DT, S, RG, and WR...not necessarily in that order.

somehow we've got to get all four.

i don't like the idea of going defense with first two picks and defense with the first pick two years in a row.

RG has to be addressed with a FA if we want to win games now...which this team has no choice but to do. they are all under the gun and they can't afford another non-winning season. screw rome and their 600 year build or whatever it was. the first two picks have to be WR and either safety or DT. WR in the first or second...it doesn't matter. we need more receiving threats. the WR corps needs to continue to be overhauled and we need to make sure we have the best players on the field...not the best "guys we drafted kind of late the past few years and we like and 'need' to give them a chance or whatever".

give cam the best weapons possible and move beyond this hopes and dreams for the long shot guys. get the OL healthy and get that RG position improved. help the run D by adding a run stuffer (not richardson, btw) and add a decent coverage and solid thumper of a safety with some height on him.

If we take Vaccaro at #14, I'm gonna stick my fist through a wall. No clue what people are seeing in this guy that makes them think he's going to be an elite NFL safety.

Exactly. If you look at our losses in division games we only lost by a total of 12 points. And 2 of those games we gave away leads in the last 3 mins. Most of our wins in division games were blow outs. With more impact on defense we dominate the division.

[/quote]the problem was the standard they were all using for what makes a good QB prospect was bogus and they've all learned from that...which is why very few had ryan mallet listed as a top prospect.

all they were looking for was a big QB with a cannon for an arm. they figured the rest could be coached up once they got to the pros. they overlooked the importance of intangibles...and i'm not talking about those extra physical traits...i'm talking about what's between the ears and his affect on the players. work ethic, ability to grow and adapt and learn, attitude, football IQ, and leadership are all elements that were overlooked in russell and leaf as well as some other big time busts. after russell they learned.
