We need a good big man to help Anjica develop I think.

either that or someone to train him like LA and the Magic are doing with Howard and Bynum. Maybe that's what you were talking about too though.

I'm just thinking I'd rather have a Tim Duncan in there setting an example for Anjica every night instead of a Primo Brezec. I'd hope the coaching staff had someone focused on bringing him along physically.

I doubt we exchange 12 for 17 unless T-Will goes at 11

Besides I'm not high on Mek/Dalembert or Diop/Dalembert talk about an offensively offensive frontcourt

I am all for it

Dalembert is a double double guy and you are forgetting the load money that we get rid of in nazr's and radman's contracts but mainly nazr's.

The salary dump is the only brightside imo

I don't think Williams, Henderson or Clark make it to 17

thats why we just worked out James Johnson and Derrick Brown today..

if T.Will is gone, make the trade with the Sixers and get Dalembert and take Johnson at 17, hopefully.. if Clark falls to 17, i would be extremely happy.. if we get T.Will or Henderson at 12, i will be happy.. but if we have to hang onto Nazrs contract, i wont be happy

Is the 17 for 12 even confirmed though last I heard over at RealGM Sixers board was our 2nd rounder to Philly instead of them moving up.

Not a big fan of Dalembert. He's very good defensively but still lacks the true post moves a big man should have offensively. We already have a few guys that fit that mold.. I would jump at the trade if it were for Mohammed, Singletary and a 2nd, or keep Singletary and send both 2nds. I would keep Radman out of the trade.

I think he really offers a dynamic type of player off the bench how has size and can provide some much needed second unit scoring.

If you look at Dalembert though, we give him 30 minutes a game and he's going to give you 10 - 14 points 10 - 14 rebounds and 2-3 blocks a game. That's something nice to have off the bench, it's getting rid of Nzar's ugly piece of a contract. If we have to get rid of Vlad to get rid of Nzar, I say take it. Give Martin some extra mins off the bench or use those second rounders to move up to say 28th or so and take a Decent sized forward who could come off the bench and get 8 - 10 points.

You also have to think they will be asking more of Augustine scoring wise this coming season, I think he can handle the load and get 15pts a game in 30 mins of game time.

I'm just thinking that when we have to play Orlando, having Dalembert, Okafor and Diop will slow him down a bit and get us some wins against them.

I don't think that is possible. Without Rad in on the trade our salary dump is us giving up a 10mil contract and taking on a 13 mil contract. If we do this trade it is because of money, so we have to send Rad too.

I've seen some that have Williams or Henderson falling to the late teens and getting picked around the 17th - 19th pick, Earl Clark in most of the Mocks is always around in the late teens. If Williams falls past NJ, then there is a good chance he could fall all the way to the 17 range.

I like this trade though.

Both our Seconds, Nazr and Vlad for Dalembert and Philly's first round pick.

Maybe get Williams with the 12th pick and get Clark with the 17th. Or maybe take a flyer on BJ mullens.

They're not going to take the seconds. The only reason for them to take this trade is to move up in the draft.

All of this because Ham Biscuit just had to give up two expiring contracts (one being Wally who was a damn good player) to get that big man (Nazr) that was going to put the team over the top.

Dumping Dalembert's Large 34 million contract is another good reason. Another is the fact he doesn't factor too much into the equation up there anymore with Brand coming back.
