Wasn't Brown a first rounder?

Brown was a 2nd rounder. It cost us a 1st for the picks we spent on Brown and Goodson.

Ah that's right. I knew a 1st was involved in getting him somehow.

This is likely because scout's have seen firsthand during individual workouts how much of a learning curve he'd have to overcome.

Sounds good, but I seriously doubt it - kid has a size/speed combination that's hard to find.

Our second round drafting has been terrible in the last 10 years.

Eric Shelton, Bruce Nelson, Kerry Colbert, Everett Brown, Jimmy Clausen....that us year after year if second round suckage.

Gettleman in charge now. Don't think we can predict or judge his draft by the Panther past.

Not that hard to find. You don't even have to leave the same school. Hunter has the same combo and he's a much more accomplished WR.

Stephen Hill had the same speed size combination last year.

Why people think this is hard to find I don't know.

Hill was faster than hunter by a good bit. But hunter a much more polished wr and better hands.

Wouldn't mind this.

I don't want Patterson at #14, but he'd be very attractive at #44. Plus, we've become so prone to 2cd round busts that I'm practically immune to it at this point. It's just expected.

I'm a UT student and feel like this needs to be said. CP entered the draft mainly because he was going to fail out of school if he stayed. He was failing all of his classes. The guy is a freak athlete but as dumb as rocks.

You don't have to be smart to play football... Here's a good example
