It seems like the morning after pill is a big answer to drastically decreasing the amount of abortions.

Why haven't the conservatives embraced this and promoted the hell out of it>?

Because sex is only for married couples and should only be done with the purpose of procreation. All boils down to religious bull poo. Fugging idiots.

Yeah but the morning after pill actually prevents the woman from ovulating. There is no conception. Thats why it is considered contraception.

No big issue with it except for the "all ages" stuff.

Yeah man, I hear yah. We should really make sure that children are forced to have unwanted pregnancies because of a mistake.

It's amazing how wise a message board full of 20 year olds are about parenting teenagers.

The whole "bail out" mentality of our society does not always work well. Not for corporations nor human beings.

Its amazing how some grown adults still think their kids won't have teenage sex.

Mostly because their kids are to afraid to tell them.

While I agree that the conservatives would be wise to promote Plan B as an alternative to abortion, I think the issue with promoting the general use of the morning after pill is it normalizes unprotected sex. So yes it would cut down on the number of abortions, but it would lead to an explosion in the rate of STDs, especially amongst teenagers.

Any long term health conditions associated with these sorts of meds\ poisons? Or aren't there any studies out there about the effects of these drugs on women, say 10, 20 0r 30 years down the road? And if so, have they just been ignored to boost immediate sales? With all the press this story gets I imagine they should be flying off the shelves by now. I smell an avalanche of lawsuits on the horizon! And who knows maybe they'll be able to blame repubs for profiteering somehow?
