@alexmarvez2m

Following @AdamSchefter's report on DeAndre Hopkins/Mark Harrison trashing hotel room at combine, a GM told me that (CONT)

@alexmarvez2m
he was told Hopkins had left the room several hours before it was destroyed. Will be curious to see how this unfolds

If Justin Pugh falls to us in the second round we can't pass on him

I'm leaning towards Cyprien. My ideal draft would be Cyprien/Hunter/Spence/Hughes/Sturgis

That's with Gettleman seeming pretty sold on the Corners we have on the roster. I would grab Logan Ryan in the fourth though if he was there and than Hughes in the fifth....

Based on the presser I think they will pick an o linesmen in the first. I had narrowed it down to wr or safety or de but after he said the depth was deep at wr and dt it left o line. Whoever is Bpa when we pick.

I just don't see Tavon as a legit #1.

He is quick, but small. Smitty has been able to beat the odds (height) because of how strong he is and his ridiculous vertical leap. Tavon has neither.

Now, I think that Tavon could be a very nasty slot receiver.....but, a legit #1....I just don't think so.

Aye, Tavon was taken 29 in the Huddle Draft, there's your value point.

I voted Rhodes because I love tall CBs but id be fine with either guard or Patterson. I'm not huge on Tavon.

I can't say that I'm as torn over this pick as I have been the last two seasons. They got a home run with Cam, though the rest of that draft class was hot trash reminiscent of the latest couple of drafts under the old regime. Luke was a home run, and I like a lot of what I've seen in Silatolu. The weak links on the line are Byron Bell and Geoff Hangartner, so I would be okay with Chance Warmack or D.J. Fluker, though I'd prefer Warmack myself. I don't think that they'll be drafting o-line early though after Gettleman commented that OL, DL, and DB were deep this year.

I've also heard a lot of good things about Jonathan Cyprien, though I haven't looked much into him myself. I think Godfrey is better suited for FS as he seems to have this weird ability to have balls thrown to him? However if Vaccaro is truly the best safety then it would almost be criminal not to take him.

Of the WRs I would prefer Hopkins or Austin. I think Hopkins has the best hands out of all of the WRs and that's something that the team can use. I think that we could get away with Hopkins in the 2nd, . Also, drafting Austin would essentially eliminate the role that Armanti Edwards, Keaoloha Pilares, and Joe Adams were supposed to fill. I wonder if it would eliminate the need for Ginn Jr. as well if Austin ends up living up to the hype?

Austin. Though my hope is that one of the DT's or OT's fall to us and if not, we can trade back.
