Something very artful about an announcer that can complement a game rather than detract from it.

Great broadcaster. RIP Pat.

He was a great broadcaster. With him...it seemed all about the game. He was very knowledgeable and was unassuming. Icon fits. He was the best.

The best in his day.

Classic football as it should be called.

Nothing worse than Jim Nantz and Phil Simms calling a Super Bowl.

RIP Pat. Monday nights just haven't been the same. Prayers for his family.

Summerall was not a Monday nigh football announcer.

Wasn't he the play by play guy for the Browns during the 50s?
