Yeah Williams is on the rise and won't be there in the second. I'd be happy with him in the second, or Short, or Jessie Williams. However, I think all of them go in the first. The thing is that if Short, both Williams', and maybe Hankins go in the first then I feel like some WR's, corners, or safeties fall into the second. It will be interesting to see. Honestly I'm actually warming up to the idea of Datone Jones in the first...he's very verstile and could be a stud.

SI's latest mock has Sly going 18 to the Cowboys - I'd be surprised if he fell out of the first

He's about the same grade wise as Richardson, so I wouldn't hate the pick. I just don't think the team is going DT or NT in the first with out a trade back. It's down to Vaccaro, Austin, Cyprien or one of the other WR's that Carolina likes.

Yeah I agree w/you. Vaccaro is looking more and more like the pick at 14. I think Gettleman realizes this year's DT crop has nice depth and we can grab a starting caliber guy at 44.

Am I the only one that thinks Swearinger is a tad overrated? Sure he can lay the hammer, but he would not be allowed to hit the way he usually does in college in the NFL with all these new rules. It seems a lot of gamecock homers around here like to hype him up, but I just don't see him being an elite safety in the NFL. If we pick him though I would love to be proven wrong.
