Yeah what kman said would be a good off season...and as also said, the Bobcats would be looking at a 6,7,8 seed, no lottery pick, and a ceiling of where they were during the Gerald Wallace years. It's the NBA...gotta find a Superstar, if not 2. Having Kemba, MKG, and a couple of decent but overpriced FA signings will do nothing but set the franchise back or turn them into the Atlanta Hawks. No thanks.

Thanks guys, I believe that would create a solid core of players and we would still have 3 picks in 2014 to maneuver with or get 3 more solid players to add to that core.

Which would be the worst possible thing for us to do IMO. Having 5-6 good guys, you're the Pacers. You're not winning a title. Even with 3 potential picks next year, if they're all out of say the Top 5, we more than likely still don't land a superstar. Nobody is trading down with Wiggins/Parker sitting there.

As much as I hate to say it, I say offer one semi max contract to Millsap and tank one more year so we can get a chance at Wiggins or Parker.

Trades -
Ben Gordan for a bad Contract and a future first round draft pick

Resign's/Cut's/Walks
- Resign McRoberts
- Amnesty Thomas
- Let Henderson, Mullens, Pargo, Williams and Diop walk

Free Agency -

Sign J.J Hickson to a 4 year 44 million dollar deal.
Sign Tyreke Evens to a 5 year 58 Million dollar deal

2013 NBA Draft

Norleans Noel

2 deep Line up would be

Walker/Sessions
Evans/Taylor
MKG/Adrien
Hickson/McRoberts
Bismack/Noel

Bismack and Noel split time fairly evenly.

Team would be really nasty on defense, has a low post presence in Hickson and low post defense with Noel and Bismack. Evans and Kemba gives the team two guys who can break defenders down and create shots and scoring chances when the team needs it. Would have good bench scoring with good ball movement for a lot of three point chances. All the additions are young players who fit with Charlotte's youth movement and would be able to grow together.

Add the 2-3 draft picks in the 2014 draft and that's the team nucleus for the next 6-7 years.

I don't understand the thought of getting good FA this offseason. We would just put ourselves into a limbo of one and done in the playoffs.

My Offseason:

1. Resign McRoberts
2. Resign Hendo
3. Not sure about Mullens yet. Wouldn't care either way
4. Try to trade Ben Gordons expiring
5. Draft Noel
6. Dont amnesty Tyrus. He will be a good trade asset in 2014 offseason or season because of the large expiring. Or we can amnesty him before that season.
7. Suck for 2014! We will probably have top 5 (our pick) and two other picks around the 10 and 13 area

We have to make some changes now so we can get more fans in the seats. While I agree it may not be the best time right NOW, something has to give or who knows if this team will be around much longer. If we can lock up a younger(ish) big it would still be worth it.

My Ideal Off-season:

Resign/Walk

- resign Josh McRoberts
- resign Jannero Pargo
- walk Gerald Henderson (only resign if he takes 5.5 mil or less)
- walk Byron Mullens
-walk Reggie Williams
- Amnesty Tyrus Thomas
- walk Ben Gordon
- walk Gana Diop

Draft: ( we are only getting 1 pick)

Ben McLemore- Great shooter who can pass and rebound. Fits Very well with Kemba and MKG

FA:

sign- Paul Millsap
sign- Nikola Pekovic
sign- Anthony Morrow
sign- Brandon Rush

Line-up

PG- Kemba, Sessions, Pargo
SG- McLemore, Morrow, Brandon Rush
SF- MKG, Taylor
PF- Millsap, Biz, Jeff Adrian
C- Pekovic, McRoberts, Haywood

If we could get all those guys, wow! Playoffs!
Not likely though.

Love Millsap and Pekovic. Pek is very underrated. A great big that wins in the paint constantly.

Like it a lot!
I think we need an upgrade at SG. Hendo is not the long term answer. Either it's McLemore or Evans Id be very happy.

If Wiggins, Parker or Randle do really live up to the hype, we have to suck one more season. Cho has to in order for us to succeed in the future. Great teams build to win Championships, not playoffs games.

If we only add more mediocre talents to this team in 2013-2014 and start winning 30+ games we'll only be rebuilding again 3-4 yrs from now.

We can be a serious threat in the NBA 2-3 yes from now with a team that consists Kemba, MKG, Biz, McLemore/Noel, and Wiggins/Parker/Randle.

Scenario (1)
2013: Nerlens Noel
2014: Andrew Wiggins / Jabari Parker

PG: Kemba
SG: Andrew Wiggins
SF: MKG
PF: Noel
C : Biz

Scenario (2)
2013: Ben McLemore
2014: Julius Randle

PG: Kemba
SG: McLemore
SF: MKG
PF: Julius Randle
C : Biz

You choose. Can't go wrong with either one.

Biyombo would move to the 4 if Noel came to Charlotte.
