Ben Gordon

Ben Gordon, who has a player option for $13.2 million on his contract next season, said that he anticipates returning to the Bobcats.

Why wouldn't he? Gordon won't sniff more than $10M annually as a free agent, and there is zero incentive for him to give up that kind of guaranteed cash despite the reported clashes he's had with head coach Mike Dunlap this season. There is also a possibility his expiring contract is dealt before the season begins. It's good work if you can get it.

Ramon Sessions

Ramon Sessions (knee) said his pain is down to a "pinch," but he still can't dunk a basketball yet.

Sessions wound up missing every game after March 6 and never returned, and although his injury was a sprained MCL, it's taken nearly six weeks for Sessions to recover. The good news is that he's not expected to need surgery and should be fully healthy well before the start of next year.

Yeah the only way we're getting rid of Gordon is in a trade. I don't blame him for not opting out. It was still a good trade, Gordon is more useful than Maggette and we got a pick. If we lose Hendo this offseason Gordon may be an important part of our team.
