Can he run, catch, and make plays? If so that's good enough for me. He was able to play multiple positions at WV.

what was aj greens score.

wonderlic is overrated. fortunately gettleman seems to take it for what it is, which is just another reason for a visit. only thing that might be required is how they adapt the playbook and teach the offense, which won't be a problem since coaches are used to doing that anyeay and any coach or teacher worth their salt would be able to adjust what they do to fit the player which, considering his skill set, would be well worth it.

scoring poorly on some stupid test doesn't mean stupid.

this. he can and does learn. that's all that matters so what if he can't take a test well?

I do believe that the Wonderlic is over-rated. But, there is a lot more to being a good WR than being able to run and catch. His intelligence is a valid concern as it does give some insight into his ability to learn and grasp the playbook.

Can he learn a Pro level offense is the question.

Jimmy Clausen scored a 23 and he could quite possibly be the worst football player the world has ever seen..... So yea, wonderlic schmunderlic.

wonderlic is stupid thing to gauge how players play. I think it's more indicative of who may need extra help in the film room. X's and O's kind of thing. But academic IQ is vastly different than football IQ.

Sure he can. Repetition and film work and one-on-one work with a position coach. Hard work can overcome a bad test score.

Now, if he scores bad, is lazy, is not a film junkie.... Then a red flag should be thrown.

no. all it really does is show that a team might have to alter the way it teaches the playbook, which, again ,isn't that big of a deal esp. if you think the ability is there.

all i want to see is prior growth and ability to learn and be coached. if they have that, then you have what you need.
