Looks fantastic in the commercials. Critics seem to love it.

Anybody seen it yet? I'm planning on it this weekend or next.

I thought this was going to be a Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy reference.

eh it was ok, I would recommend seeing it since everyone else I saw it with liked it. I just thought it was kinda slow and boring. Didnt have much to do with baseball and focused only on his race and not how good of a baseball player he was and that really bothered me

why?

every movie that i have gone to see that involves race, e.g., the help, and django, has been a completely horrible time due to audience antics.

No such problem here.

When I saw The Help, my date and I might have been the only white people in the theater, but we had no issues.

Heard it was a pretty poor movie but because of the subject everyone is scared to say anything against it.

this is most likely the situation. general inability to separate execution from the subject matter.
