Bottom line, the bomber should die for his crime if he is guilty. He really deserves worse than that because what he did was so awful but we do not do "cruel and unusual" punishments.

Like what?

Perhaps he could be beheaded on live television...thoughts?

Difference is you do not have to do anything heinous to get executed in Iran. That is not the same level at all.

You think conservatives are the only ones who do that?

Of course not. But if I based my opinion completely on experience then my answer would be yes. I find it frustrating because I think their are many good points the Republicans can make but they tend to get lost in the extremism.

Due process is considered an exercise that supports unalienable rights, so I guess Ted Nugent is one of those guys who self-righteously selects what we should cling onto with all the power in our fingertips and what we should throw away from the constitution AKA right wing in a nutshell got it

due process is absolutely important.

But, I can also admit that our judicial system is screwed up in many ways related to this. When it takes years for someone to come to trial......decades of appeals....and convicted people on death row for multiple decades......that is also not due process.

The putting innocent people to death thing, that's totally cool though.

The justice system is a joke. Its all about making money not justice. If you are 100% guilty, like this guy is, why drag it out for years? Same for others caught on tape killing people. Which is more cruel? Putting someone's head on a pike, lethal injection, hanging, being stuck in prison for life, etc....??? People who think humans may one day find a utopia where evil doesn't exist are kidding themselves. I don't mean evil in a demon sense but some people are geared for violence and have zero remorse. What do you do with those people?

RE: "dragging it out," because whether you are 100% guilty or only I don't know 95% or even 75% you deserve a fair trial in which you are innocent until proven guilty by a jury of your peers. that isn't to say the justice system is perfect, but I think it's bullshit a bunch of you think we should have special cases for "ultra guilty" people.

as to life in prison vs death penalty... meh.
