I think Star or Trade back is a solid game plan.

Averaging almost 30 ppg in wins, offense is not an issue, especially with Cam under center. Star would be the best thing to happen this draft.

I love it when people make sense on this board. We sign two WRs in the offseason to compete this year and people want us to waste our fourteenth pick on a slot receiver. Keep the lineman off Keek while stuffing the gaps and we become a top five defense.

Yeah no poo Jason C.

We all want him, coaches and fans, but are keeping things in perspective which will keep us from getting heart broken for getting hung up on one guy.

I think Star gets taken in the top 7 picks. I think Floyd has been massively overrated even though he is a great player. Star's health checked out and people act like teams are gonna pass on him for it? This dude is the best DT in the draft.

If he does somehow drop. We got the steal of the decade. This guy on our team would be so dominant because of the surrounding players it would be nuts. Our front 7 would be top 2 or 3 in the league on paper.

CJ Edwards Lotulelei Hardy

Beason Keek Davis

With Alexander rotating in....That is fuging insane.

Would anyone be upset with a trade up ? Say, Jets' 9 for Star.

How many points did we average in our 9 losses? Fwiw, we were in the bottom half of the leage in points scored last year, despite getting to play New Orleans twice.

I am not saying that we should necessarily pick a receiver and fwiw, I don't really like any of the potential picks at receiver. But getting a number 1 receiver is something we are going to have to address either thru the draft or free agency this year or next, because Steve Smith isn't getting any younger.

Feel for Austin. He is not a good fit for the Jets. He also has no one to get him the ball.

Austin is perfect for down the field attacking offense... Totally not what Jets run. No matter how many talented WR they get for their shitty QB... He'll still be a shitty QB.

Wouldn't be a great shock.

That said, a day before the draft, ya gotta keep the salt shaker handy.

Offense is not an issue because we put up good numbers in some of the games???

We faced two really god defensive fronts (Denver and NY) and guess what, they killed us. This does not mean we have to spend the first rounder on offense, but lets not kid ourselves and pretend that we donĀ“t have holes on both sides of the ball.

Austin is NOT perfect for a down the field attacking offense.

He made his living in college on WR screens and bubble screens. That is why his yards per catch is very low at 11 ypc.

He is an underneath slot WR. I just do not see him as a legit #1 WR on the outside.
