Lol bringing up age is the most sure fire way to win and argument right? Not linking the first post you had saying Eifert comparing it to when others did? Because you were. So if anyone is butt hurt its you

Since you wanna be an Internet gangster, go into the draft section and find it yourself. Many people on here knew I brought the topic up early on. Don't be embarrass when you find out the truth.

I don't buy the whole "media creation" thing. He slid because elite OL got pushed up, and probably because some teams were worried about his shorter arms. The kid can play though.

I completely agree.
In my opinion, there is not much drop off from Floyd and Star. The only difference is theyre different players but the talent is there with Floyd as it is with Star.

He didn't dropp bc of the media hype. He dropped bc like how you say there was a big run for OLINE very early in the draft. If we're calling Floyd a media creation, should we say the same thing about Star (excluding his heart condition)? Bc why would a man that great fall to 14 right?

Some of these people that are saying Floyd is a media creation are the very same people that 2months ago thought he was the best DT in the draft. Now, that he isn't a Panther they want to make up excuses. If we had gotten Star and Floyd at 44 instead of Short, imagine this forum. Everyone would be calling a SB run!!!

It is still as of right now:
(1) Star
(2) Floyd
(3) Sheldon
(4) Short / Sly

Don't get carried away just bc Short is a Panther now, and from what Gettleman said after the draft.

Many of us like myself would have been very, very happy with Floyd if Star wasn't there.

What?

Neither have played a single down yet and you've already labeled one a bust and one the best TE in the draft? That's not common knowledge, that's just pure idiocy.

he doesn't have to play a down to show you he's the best TE coming out of college. The facts are Floyd has short arms and was a media hype creation and wasnt a 1st prospect til after the combine.

IM THE INTERNET GANGSTER?! Get your head out of your ass. You are the person trying to bring up age and figuring out life on an Internet forum. Check yourself bro. And I wouldn't cause I know you weren't the first cause you were to busy sucking off vaccaro and Austin to give anyone time. Calm yourself

The best player coming out of college isn't necessarily the best pro out of the group.

There is also talent you just know is going to be good out of college. Ap AJ green Calvin Johnson. They didn't need a play a down yet for people to know they would be money. Eiferts pass catching ability coupled with his size makes him the best coming out of college into the pros. Which is exactly what I said

Talent like Robert Gallery?  The Boz?  Tony Mandarich?

There's no such thing as a sure thing when it comes to draft prospects.

No, there's not.  No one can definitively say that anyone who has never played a single down in the NFL will be successful.  Hell, not even a proven NFL producing free agent is a sure thing going to a new team and new system.

Drafted players vs free agents are two different arguments. But everyone said luck rg3 and Luke were sure things at the next level. That's 3 in one draft. To say there is no such thing as a sure thing is a close minded way of viewing things.
