Better yet, when was the last time Brady, Rodgers, Manning, or Brees lost a game because they were frustrated by the opponent's awesom coverage?

Exactly.

You beat those guys by stopping the run and putting the QB on his ass.

If you can't pressure the QB, you could have a defensive backfield full of Players like Revis and you won't win.

Give a good QB time and they will all kill you.

the pick definitely caught me off guard, but after thinking about how well carolina's secondary played the second half of the season without gamble or a strong defensive middle...they're only going to get better.

It's a different philosophy.

Different is good in this case.

For years, teams were scared to death to pressure Brady because guys thought he'd pick them apart.

Reality was that the teams that went after him were the ones that beat him.

The Giants were one of those teams that had the balls to pressure him, and they won two Lombardis doing it.

I'd be completely fine with it if we can get a WR like Patton or Rogers in the 4th.

Can't really be mad at them for address our middle...can't be gashed for 5 yards per all game.

Given who had already come off the board and the fact all we had was Dwan and Star, I expeced it. I'm happy.

SOME OF YOU DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS FOR KUECHLY

Yes, we have a crazy, crazy line. But didnt we have a rookie lead the league in tackles last year? Yes we did now didnt we!!

Kuechly couldnt be in a better position. The Stars have aligned my friends. It is finally time to tear up mole face and every other Qb in the league!!

At first I though awww wtf is this. WHY GETTLEMAN WHY.

Then I thought about Matt Ryan and Drew Brees getting smacked around by our front four every time we meet and I changed to an oohhhhh I get it now.

Ima take Gettlemans opinions over yours my man. In time, you will rejoice with me and many other over how great this front 7 is.

We gave up a ton of rushing yards last season. Putting teams in 3rd and long will help our secondary.

It was a very different approach but that doesn't make it wrong. Gettleman is building a team. You don't build team by drafting band aids all over your depth chart. You acquire and develop talent and sign veteran band aids.

You dont build a house from the top floor down. You need that foundation.
