Yes because Eric Reid was such a wise pick in the first round.

Umm eric reid was a stud. Late riser.

Gettleman has said all along we need to get big on the lines.

So why is everyone acting surprised about this draft?

We expected one big hog in the 2nd maybe another in the 5th. We got two DTs and a guy with grainy film.

Not the pick I would've made, but definitely a position of need and he sounds promising. I would've preferred someone like Jones who was more NFL ready, but if they think this guy can be great then I hope they're right.

Hmm, no need to high jack the forum with a back and forth rumble. You don't know squat.

Not a fan of the pick but I trust Gettleman.

This dood was no where near BPA

San Fran showing teams how to build a winning team.

That's easy when you have 13 or more picks and only 5 or 6 will make the team. We're not in the same situation. Be reasonable. Piggy needed to be replaced and we got a potential good player for the scheme. A lot of other guards and tackle don't fit a power scheme. Everybody talks about B.Jones but he isn't suited in a power scheme. Yes, he played at Alabama and is versatile, but he isn't strong. He could excel in college on technique only and needed a lot of help when they played good nose tackles.
