So, any shot that this kid starts..or do we need to grab a G in the FA?

There's no way in hell we can be going forward with Hangartner another season.

Mr. G said that he was going for a mess of Hog Mollies! Sorta of like the Giants. Also thinking of protection for Cam.

Yeah, people get too caught up with NFLN/ESPN rankings. A lot of players many have never heard of going in the 4th here while 'name' players continue to drop.

One of which is Da'Rick Rogers. 246 players picked, and so far not one team has wanted to take Rogers. Looks like he's going to go undrafted.

Has anyone considered that he may be a candidate for RT? He's got the frame for it.

Gettleman said he's a guard. They asked in the press conference if he'll play inside or outside and he was definitive in his answer.

he may not be quick enough...at one point he was 400 lbs before getting down to
320 or 330, whatever he is now.

Well, no one has to start a nickname thread for him. Per an old highlight reel I found on YouTube, he's already called "The African Assassin"

Here is why he was rated so low and picked so high. And why our pick is getting d's and f's from the national media.

2. He has all the tools, but he needs some work

3. Scouts didn't like him too much, coaches loved him. Seems like a hard worker

http://www.catscratchreader.com/2013/4/28/4278480/2013-nfl-draft-carolina-panthers-draft-reaction

The sites that rate players often speak with scouts digging for information. I imagine they rarely speak with coaches.

This is a pure potential pick. The possibility to have an elite G in 4 years and the possibility to have depth this year.

Still think it is a baffling pick.
