Great pick. This just makes me curious about the future of our other running backs/special team return men. I just do not see any chance that we walk into the regular season with DeAngelo, Stewart, Tolbert, and Barner, unless some serious changes occur with how we use our stable of running backs.

I would have liked to see a receiver or defensive back drafted, but the BPA methodology along with the G-Men philosophy of a stong front 7 makes your back 4 good can't be argued against too much.

Here's to a great 2013 season for the Panthers!

What about tauren poole armond smith? Did those guys not beast during preseason last year? It just seems like there are other players that could of helped us more than another rb....

Maybe this is why it's taken forever for Gettleman to get a GM job.

Strategy vs. Tactics people. Gettle is planning for the next 5 years not for OTA's this year.

Freaking awesome pick. Stewart/Barner is the backfield of next season, most likely, and that is a dang good backfield.

Jonathan Stewart, DeAngelo Williams, Mile Tolbert, Armond Smith, Tauren Poole, and Kenjon Barner.

What the flying fug.

We're going to run the hell out of the ball this year. Cam will go from having to be our entire offense to being free to actually getting the chance to make plays only when needed.

Yes, because we have so much room for two big contracts at RB.

Get rid of one of these big dollar running backs we have, clear some cap. He can put up similar production, like Barner alot
