How dumb of a pick would have Gettleman made if Star didn't fall into his lap?

Kugbila was really only the truly BAD pick in this draft imo

Nope. Kug will be starting day 1.

Even if it wasn't the case have you seen our special teams over the past decade? We'd win a lot more games if they could even be considered average.

So you are telling me our 1st and 2nd round picks will see the field and our 4 - 6 rounders probably will not or just contribute in special teams.....

I think almost every football team who doesn't suck ass will probably say the same thing.

Say that for all 31 other teams. Some may not even see their first two picks on the field this season

I saw a bunch of you say that after the Star pick you didn't care what we did after. Now when we actually go through the whole draft a bunch of you are still complaining about the picks.

we didnt draft a running back. we drafted a special teams and slot receiver. (he has good hands and runs 4.3s)

LB pick is great for depth and 4-4 packages, im still thinking we trade stewart for WR talent, but now with the NFC South stacking up on DB's, im thinking we are a running team in 2013-14

Barner will see time on passing third downs as a scat back, he'll also probably get the majority of the option plays when that's ran as well.

Klein is a backup for all three LB spots and could see time if Beason or Davis get injured again. He'll likely be the SLB starter after a year when the team cuts Beason. Might also see time on goal line plays and short yardage situations as well.

Kugbila if they get him into the weight room and even his frame out is a good possibility to take Hangman's spot at RG. If he doesn't start he'll be the primary backup at RG and RT.

Star and Short will be starters to top it off.

How is that not a good draft?

Literally every single player may be starting in 2014. We couldn't have asked for a better draft.

Star might actually be the only starter this year

But I thought it was a solid draft regardless

I don't know half of you in this thread. See you next year.

Just look at the knee-jerk response to our draft picks and lack of knowledge & foresight on display by the array of turds on this forum, and you can understand why that is. If you want to see some interesting football discussion Carolina Huddle is the last place on earth to find it.
