With our first two picks we have completely changed the way our defense is viewed. We have added aspects to our defense that can take pressure off the secondary.

We added a Guard who has potential (there were much safer options available)

We added a versatile LB who will be an immediate addition to special teams, is a great locker room presence, and may develop into a good back-up

We added a Sproles type RB who will add a dangerous pass catching RB aspect to our offense.

You are underestimating Klien. He is already a good backup and will most likely become a starting LB.

I agree.

The one thing that tells me about Gettleman is that he doesn't really care what you or anyone else thinks.

He knows what it takes to build a team and has visions for the future.

That sounds fair, honestly.

I like the draft except for our 4th rounder but I'll save my judgement on the guy himself until he sees the field.

If this were true, it would be absolutely sensational.

I have to agree. One of our better drafts. I'm, as always, excited for next season.

This draft is an A.

Shore up our interior DL with absolute studs.

Add a OG with great frame, thats athletic, and with quick feet with a ton of upside that allowed barely any sacks and hurries. Day 1 starter.

Added a nice LB that won defensive player of the year that will serve as a nice backup / depth that will prob be starting in the future.

Added a sick rb/scat back with great change of pace of vision.

I am pissed we didnt get Rodgers or Rambo but all our draft picks are studs and will contribute / help this team

We're more than halfway through the 6th round and Rambo *just* got drafted.

And Rogers hasn't been drafted *yet*.

And there were people who wanted to spend a 4th round pick on one or the other of them.

Yeah I would say B+. Very strong draft.

Star was a no-brainer. My five year old literally knew to take star. Doesn't mean it isn't a spectacular pick.

Short is Gettleman's Hog-Molly philosophy in play. I also assume there wasn't a CB/S/OL that we liked enough and I have no probelm with juicing the D line.

Cowabunga or whatever his name is seems like a reach from a D-2 but I'll give the benefit.

AJ Klein is a very good 5th round pick with good upside and will make a ST impact.

Barner has funny hair and I assume will help on ST as well.

No big complaints at all.

everyone should want to use a 4th round pick on a guy as talented as Rodgers.

if he stayed at Tenn he would have been a top 15 pick, no question.

I would give us a B, due only to the fact that we only had 5 picks.

Gettleman did not hesitate, sit around hoping for calls. He KNEW what he wanted and when our turn, pulled the trigger. He has to instill confidence in our coaching staff.
