Lets not forget, Christians are always the victims just like white men. What a tough life to lead, I don't know how you guys do it.

Yeah imagine if the Bobcats signed him and one of us didn't go to a game. You know who would call us all racist homophobes.

When did The Golden Calf of Bristol become the poster boy for victimization?

Seriously, I have seen at least 10 fb post in the last two days regarding The Golden Calf of Bristol and how he's treated.  These post are by people who wouldn't even know the name Alex Smith. No one should even know his name yet he is probably the most known QB in football why? Because he wears his religion. DId any of the fb post have anything to do with football skillz? not one.

Christians are supposed to be persecuted. It's one of the basic tenets of the religion. Many will bend over backwards to make it seem they are as persecuted just as the early followers were in Rome.

Thus the cartoon shown above and the constant howling over prayer in school.

Very true.

I recommend the book The Myth of Persecution: How Early Christians Invented a Story of Martydom, by Candida Moss a professor of New Testament and Christian Origins in the Department of Theology at the University of Notre Dame
