I had no idea he dissed us.

Lol yeah, and you know MJ's got to keep that pride intact so there is no way that they would go after him again.

I must have missed it, but what exactly did Shaw say?

First off, the word on the street was that the Bobcats never officially offered Shaw the head coaching job...

Shaw however said that the Cats did offer him the head coaching job and  he said he turned it down because he wanted "to have a real chance".

Broussard is a pretty reliable ESPN analyst and here is what he has to say on our coaching search...

The Bobcats "really like" Quin Snyder and he could be their next coach, according to ESPN's Chris Broussard.

Snyder spent last season as an assistant in Russia with CSKA Moscow, and after being a favorite of the Bobcats last season prior to the Mike Dunlap hire, it appears the team is ready to flirt with him again. Sources told Broussard that GM Rich Cho wanted to hire Snyder over Dunlap initially, so it's not clear why it didn't happen last year.

Looks like Snyder might become our new coach...

Snyder does have a good background in college and did do a good job in the D-League. He's got a good reputation, and seemed highly rated at the Lakers, so I think he could be a decent enough hire.

According to multiple reports, the Suns are closing in on hiring Jeff Hornacek, the Bucks are down to Kelvin Sampson, Steve Clifford, and Larry Drew, and the Clippers officially added Gentry to their coaching list.

Take Hornacek off the list for the Bobcats as he's the new Suns head coach now.

Lol, look right above you...

The majority of the coaches that we are looking at are being hired by other teams.

I wouldn't mind giving Larry Drew an interview... I've heard from several different players past and present who have said what an excellent coach he is but Atlanta is giving him a raw deal...

All of the coaches that we are going after are getting shots with other teams.  It looks like Quin Snyder might just become the Hornets coach.

Can someone explain why the hate is so strong with Snyder? I understand he has a little bit of a checkered past, but it seems like he has a great basketball mind.

If the bobcats like Snyder so much, why didnt they sign him last year?

I don't really like Snyder. I think this is just a horrible coaching pool to pick from.

Word is that Choi wanted Snyder over Dunlap but was over ruled by Jordan.
